The Forge is PromptTide's multi-persona AI evaluation pipeline. When you submit a prompt, six specialized AI personas evaluate it from different angles — clarity, creativity, technical depth, edge cases, tone, and structure. A Brain persona synthesizes all feedback, and an Improver generates an enhanced version of your prompt.
PromptTide supports multiple AI models through OpenRouter, including free open-source models like Llama, Mistral, and Gemma. You can also bring your own API keys (BYOK) to access premium models like GPT-4, Claude, and Gemini with zero markup.

No. PromptTide provides free AI model access out of the box. However, if you want to use specific premium models, you can bring your own API keys (BYOK) from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. Your keys are encrypted at rest and never shared.
