The rules and guidelines for using PromptTide, the social network where AI prompts evolve.

By accessing or using PromptTide ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you at least 14 days before they take effect via email or a prominent notice on the platform.
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use PromptTide. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may sign in using email and password, or via Google or GitHub OAuth. You must not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent platform rules. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at security@prompttide.space if you suspect unauthorized access.
You retain ownership of the prompts, comments, ratings, and other content you create on PromptTide. By posting content, you grant PromptTide a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content as necessary to operate and improve the Service.
Prompts marked as public are visible to all users and may be forked, branched, or referenced by others in accordance with these Terms. When you fork or branch another user's prompt, the original author retains ownership of their original work, and you own your modifications.
When you execute a prompt through PromptTide, the output is generated by third-party large language models (via OpenRouter). PromptTide does not claim ownership of AI-generated outputs. Ownership and usage rights for AI-generated content are subject to the terms of the underlying model provider. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before using it for any purpose.
Evaluations generated by the The Forge feature are produced by AI models and are provided for informational and creative purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice. PromptTide does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of AI Forge evaluations.
Use the Service to generate, store, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable; attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures; use automated scripts or bots to access the Service without prior written permission; impersonate another person or entity; upload malware, viruses, or other malicious code; use the Service to spam, phish, or conduct fraud; scrape, crawl, or harvest user data without consent; or interfere with the operation of the Service or other users' experience.
Prompts must not be designed to generate content that exploits minors, promotes violence or self-harm, constitutes hate speech targeting protected groups, facilitates illegal activities, or attempts to bypass safety measures of language models. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines without prior notice.
Violations of this acceptable use policy may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent banning at our sole discretion. Repeat or severe violations will be escalated, and we may report illegal activity to law enforcement.
PromptTide is a collaborative community. We expect all users to: treat other members with respect and constructive intent; provide honest and helpful ratings and feedback; give proper attribution when building upon others' work through forks and branches; report content that violates these Terms or community standards; and contribute to a welcoming environment for prompt engineers of all skill levels.
PromptTide offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for each billing cycle.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@prompttide.space within 30 days of the charge.
Prompt executions consume credits based on your subscription tier. Usage limits are described on the pricing page. Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods. We reserve the right to adjust credit allocations with 30 days' notice.
The PromptTide platform, including its design, code, logos, trademarks, and documentation, is the intellectual property of PromptTide and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service itself. The PromptTide name, logo, and related branding are trademarks of PromptTide. You may not use them without prior written permission.
PromptTide integrates with third-party services including OpenRouter (for LLM execution), Stripe (for payment processing), and Google/GitHub (for OAuth authentication). Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. PromptTide is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of third-party integrations.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. AI-generated content (including prompt executions and Forge evaluations) may contain inaccuracies, biases, or errors. You are solely responsible for evaluating and using AI-generated content.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PromptTide and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to PromptTide in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PromptTide and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: your use of the Service; your violation of these Terms; your content; or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time through the settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will remain in effect.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
